Since mid-2003, the Federal Government has been examining the conditions for Deutsche Bahn AG’s eligibility for the capital market and a possible initial public offering. On behalf of the Federal Government, several expert reports have been drawn up and hearings with experts convened in order to analyse and assess the possibilities and implications of the privatisation of Deutsche Bahn AG.
