Accessibility Statement

Information on the accessibility of these web pages in accordance with Section 12b of the BGG (Disability Equality Act), as well as contact details in this regard.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.monopolkommission.de. The statement was drawn up in June 2026.

The Monopolies Commission endeavours to ensure that the website www.monopolkommission.de is accessible to all. The legal basis for the obligation to ensure digital accessibility is primarily the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the BITV 2.0 Regulation (Federal Regulation on Accessible Information Technology).

Status of the agreement in relation to the requirements

Verification of compliance with the requirements is based on a simplified assessment carried out by the Federal Monitoring Authority for Accessibility of Information Technology (BFIT-Bund) on 8 July 2026. All the barriers identified during this assessment have been rectified, with the exception of two issues. A request was made for a further audit by the BFIT, but this was not carried out. As a result, there is only a small amount of content on this website that makes it difficult for people with disabilities to access.

The content listed below is not fully accessible:

  • Not all PDF documents are accessible. This is due to the large number of documents created before the introduction of legal requirements. If you require an accessible version of a specific document, we will be happy to assist you. Please email us at info@monopolkommission.bund.de.
  • The main content of this website, navigation instructions and the explanation of this accessibility statement are not yet available in German Sign Language (DGS). The relevant video content is currently being produced and will be added to this website at a later date.
