Since the Monopolies Commission was established in 1974, the Main Report has formed the core of its statutory remit. In accordance with Section 44(1) of the Act against Restraints of Competition (GWB), the Monopolies Commission produces a main report every two years in which it assesses the current state and foreseeable development of business concentration in Germany, evaluates the application of competition law provisions and comments on current competition policy issues. Here you will find all the Monopol Commission’s main reports published in digital form. In the section ‘Antitrust Decision-Making Practice’, you will find all analyses and recommendations relating to antitrust law.
