Every two years, the Monopolies Commission publishes sector reports on the four network industries: rail, energy, postal services and telecommunications. In these reports, it analyses competition trends in the respective sectors, assesses the existing regulatory framework and makes recommendations to policymakers and regulatory and competition authorities. The sector reports are drawn up in accordance with the law and form an integral part of the Monopolies Commission’s remit.
