Curriculum Vitae of Pamela Knapp

Pamela Knapp sits on the supervisory boards of various European groups.
She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Signify NV, Eindhoven, since May 2020, a member of the Supervisory Board of LANXESS AG since 2018, and a member of the Supervisory Board of Douglas AG, Düsseldorf, since 2024.
Over the past five years, she has also been a member of the Conseil d’Administration of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain, Courbevoie (until 2025), the Conseil de Surveillance of Peugeot SA, Vélizy, France (until 2021), the Board of Directors of NV Bekaert SA, Belgium (until 2020), a member of the Board of Directors of Panalpina World Transport (Holding) AG, Switzerland (until 2019) and a member of the Board of Directors of HKP Group AG, Switzerland (until 2019).
Ms Knapp began her professional career in 1987 in M&A consultancy, first at Deutsche Bank AG, then at Fuchs Consult GmbH. In 1992, Ms Knapp joined the Siemens Group. After holding various management positions, she became a member of the Executive Board of the Power Transmission and Distribution division in 2004 and served as Chief Financial Officer of that division. In 2009, Ms Knapp joined the Executive Board of GfK SE, where, as Chief Financial Officer until the end of 2014, she was responsible for the Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Legal, Facilities and Human Resources departments.
Alongside her professional duties, she is committed to promoting Franco-German relations as a member of the Board of Directors of the Franco-German Chamber of Foreign Trade.
Ms Knapp was born in Nuremberg and studied economics in Munich and Berlin. She also completed the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to get to know many European countries better – in particular Belgium, France, the United Kingdom and Switzerland – whilst also gaining in-depth insight into business environments in China, Latin America and the USA.
Pamela Knapp has been a member of the Monopolies Commission since 1 July 2020.
